프놈펜 앙코르 대로 개통까엡 쭈떼마 프놈펜 시장은 프놈펜 북부에 건설된 앙코르 대로(Angkor Avenue) 개통을 선언했다. 이 도로는 지난 2월부터 9월까지 건설됐다. 프놈펜 공공수송청의 섬 삐섯은 이 도는 프놈펜시의 마스터플랜하에 건설된 것이며 캄코시티 로터리와 앙코르프놈펜 주택단지를 연결(프놈펜시 르쎄이까에우 구 뚤썽까에 동)한다고 말했다. 이 도로는 총 길이 2,495m이고 이 중 아스팔트 포장길은 1,265m가 폭 14.5m(중앙에 2.5m 정원)이며, 1,230m 는 콘크리트로 포장되었다고 말했다. 까엡 쭈떼마 시장은 이 도로가 개통되면 이 지역의 교통 체증이 많이 줄어들 것이라고 말했다.#
 
일본, 캄보디아에 홍수 피해 복구용 물자 지원일본 정부가 홍수 피해를 당한 캄보디아에 약 2500만엔 상당의 물자를 지원했다. 이번에 지원된 물자는 200명 이상의 사망자를 야기한 캄보디아의 홍수 피해 복구 목적으로 주로 급수용 기구와 텐트 등이 지원됐다. 일본측 의사가 일방적으로 전해지던 그동안의 관례와는 달리, 양국 관료들은 8일 캄보디아 프놈펜의 국제공항에서 열린 물자 인도식에서 서로를 배려하는 모습을 연출했다.
 
캄보디아 국가재해대책위원회 담당자는 지원하는 일본 측에 지진 피해에도 불구하고 이렇게 지원해줘 감사하다고 말했으며, 캄보디아 주재 일본대사관 대사는 지원받는 캄보디아 측에 캄보디아는 동일본 대지진 당시 일본 지원에 신속히 나섰다며, 그 은혜에 보답하는 마음을 담아 이번에 지원하는 것이라고 답했다./뉴스재팬
 
 
중국 회사, 블록F 유정 탐사 시추대규모 중국 회사가 이번 달에 캄보디아 해역에서 유정 시추를 시작한다. 중국국립근해석유단체(CNOOC)는 지난 2006년 시하누크빌로부터 남쪽으로 37km 떨어져 있는 지점 블록F에서 사업권을 받았었다. CNOOC는 10월부터 12월 까지 석유 및 가스 매장여부 확인 탐사를 위해 시추 허가권을 받았으며 만약 이곳에서 석유 및 가스가 발견되면 다음 단계를 위해 유정은 잠시 닫히게 된다.#
